Patience....!

*zHigUo + xiNhUi = kUkU & LaLa *

My job search goes on... After getting my unreasonably deducted AWS bonus, I'm more than determined to find a new job. I guess probably many people are still switching jobs after their year end bonus, so the frequency of new jobs online are higher.

I went for an interview this morning and it was for a recruitment consultant position. It was rather associated to sales, but more towards tele-sales such as cold calling. I would say it is something new to me because I've never done recruiting jobs or any jobs associated to it. But I take it as a challange and a new breakthrough for myself. Well, anyway I think I didn't really do well for my interview this morning because the interviewer was rather harsh with her questions and prompts.

I don't know about others, but I tend to feel demoralized after a unsuccessful interview. It's like back to square one, you have to look out for suitable jobs again, send your resume, wait for them to call you (provided they do), wait for them to schedule an interview, specially take leave to attend the interview, get nervous to prepare yourself for the interview, attended interview, wait for their response, get dissappointed when they don't call you, and then the cycle goes on......

It's pretty tiring lor, but in order to take the step forward, I would need to perservere. Today I was watching the news and it was featuring reports and feedbacks from recruitment companies on jobs searching in this unrecovering economic crisis. They mentioned that serveral companies are more cautious and stringent on selecting candidates. Some companies have freezed on recruiting new employees, and some even put their final recruiting decision on hold to observe the market.

These reports inevitably reminds me on where my stand is in this vast ocean of jobless graduates who are enthusiastic and ready to prove their knowledge and capabilities. It's really demoralizing, yet again.
