Drama Fanatic..!!

*zHigUo + xiNhUi = kUkU & LaLa *
Recently I have been quite crazy about dramas. May it be Korean or Taiwanese.

I thought I was no longer attracted to taiwan dramas after I fell for the Korean ones. But lately Channel U has been airing this really nice show called Destiny Love
Initially I thought it was going to be some really boring or similar pop idol dramas, but after I  started watching it, I realise it's really very touching and hooking. Now every weekday I will look forward to finishing work and going back home to catch my 10pm drama.

Next is another Taiwan pop idol drama show, Why Why Love 換換愛 which is aired every Fridays at 11.30pm. In the past Baby and I have the practice of going for dinner and walk walk on Fridays. But lately, we will just go for dinner, a short walk walk, and make sure we head home by 9pm. Hehe, because I want to catch my dramas!!

Tong Jia Di (Rainie Yang) is a college student whose family has struggled to pay back their debts ever since her father died. Her best friend Xiao Nan (Chen Yen-xi) wants Jia Di to fall in love and she tries to set Jia Di up. Xiao Nan carried out her first plan at a carnival by selling exchange coupons that she wrote on. There, Jia Di meets the two sons of the owner of the company, Huo Yan (Kingone Wang) and Huo Da (Mike He), who buy exchange coupons from Jia Di.
Then, on her 20th birthday, Xiao Nan wishes that Jia Di will ask the tenth guy who passes by for his phone number. Huo Da and Huo Yan had a bet and are in an accident on motor bikes they ended up with broken arms (Huo Yan) or broken legs (Huo Da) This resulted in the trio meeting again. During this meeting, Jia Di asks for Huo Yan's phone number which he obliged, however his phone number was accidentally mentioned in their class that it was used online for a bad site which made Huo Yan mistrust Jia Di but they were able to patch things up.
Huo Da's dislike for Jia Di soon changes after Jia Di fulfills her roles in accordance to the "angel-owner" service coupon that Huo Da bought. Huo Da soon found out that he had fallen in love with Jia Di. Eventually, Huo Yan and Huo Da both fall in love with Jia Di, and try to win her over in their own ways. The drama details the struggle between the half-brothers over Jia Di.
Later on, Huo Da is diagnosed with Wilson's Disease and is dying. He chose not to reveal his illness to anyone except Yan Shu , Jia Di eventually found out what happened. She encourages Huo Da to live on for love.
Meanwhile, Huo Yan tries to find ways to cure his younger brother's sickness. He soon finds out that his brother will need a liver donation and the former is the only suitable donor. Huo Yan agrees to undergo the transplant despite his heart problems. Viewers are led to believe that the operation ended badly for Huo Da; however, it is later revealed that both brothers survived . Huo Da and Jia Di continued their relationship.

I feel that my life is more interesting now because I have these dramas to look forward to. To be honest, I think I'm seriously a Drama Fanatic, may it be Korean, Japanese, or Taiwanese, as long as the story line is about love, and is funny, I will definitely get hooked lor.

I think in the future when I grow old and stop working to stay at home and take care of my children, I will spend most of my time watching dramas at home... Heez

*zHigUo + xiNhUi = kUkU & LaLa *

I finally went to cut my hair and rebond it straight again! Yeh.... no more bulky curly hair.... Though the curls were quite nice but it's really very troublesome to have to apply cream every morning... Anyway, I still feel that straight hair suits me better. Now it's still alittle flat because of the initial rebonding effect... And I had it cut too short liao... But it's my fault la, because I wasn't wearing my glasses when the Auntie asked if the length was ok, and I asked her to cut shorter... which turned out to be way too short.... Heez

I have been attending sales training at Mariott Hotel with my whole department for the past 2 days. It was a enjoyable training, conducted by Peter Ng. It's more like a motivational course rather than training, and I have attended serveral such course before, but this trainer is really good. He had lots of life story to share, so the course wasn't the least bit boring.

Today Siong Siong is leaving to the States again to persue his PHD! I'm so proud of my brother, studying the his PHD right after his degree... Not many people have such chances and such ability... It's going to be another 5 years before siong siong becomes Dr. Goh. Go for it siong siong!!

Mummy insisted that we take a family photo before Siong Siong board the plane. Heez... This is one of the few photos that we can capture papa.... Because papa is always so camera shy...

We were in a rush when we set off from home, because today the 3 of us (Siong Siongs n me) had to go the A*Star to sign as the surity. It dragged for some time and it was quite late when we reasched home. Then we had to help Siong Siong pack his stuff into the luggages at the very last minute as mama prepared so many things for him. Then we had to sing birthday song for Fat Siong in a rush... it's actually his 30th birthday today... Phew... so many things all in one day.... Lucky we reached the airport on time, and still could hang around for awhile before Siong went for boarding...

Can see that papa and mama are happy and sad... happy because they are proud of their son, sad because they will have to miss him for another 5 years.... Well... I wish all the best for Siong... remember to come back during October next year to attend my solemnization ok?

Finally Fixed!!

*zHigUo + xiNhUi = kUkU & LaLa *

Oh my god!! I finally fixed my blog liao... I haven't been blogging lately because there was a problem with my blogger. I wanted to try using those free templates found in google, but it just didn't seem to work.

Well, finally, I can upload my photos liao!! I have a lot of things to blog about but just can't remember everything at the same time.

Firstly, the National Day long weekend was kind of boring for me, because Baby and I slagged at home almost everyday. We just didn't felt like going out, so we stayed at home and watched tv all day. After the 43 days of nuaing at home, I couldn't take it anymore, so we went shopping at Far East on Tuesday. It felt kind of shiok, because everybody else had to start work except us. Heez..

We did go out on the night of National Day itself, and we met up with Baby's friends to watch the movie UP.

The show was really very nice! There was even a short animation on clouds when the show started, so cute!  I loved the characters Mr Federickson and Russell, and the touching story line. I don't know why, but everytime I watch those touching animations, I will definitely cry... And yes, I cried towards the ending of the show.....

Da Vinci....genius indeed!

*zHigUo + xiNhUi = kUkU & LaLa *

Today we actually arranged to meet with Shiyuan and Faith at the Science Centre to attend the Da Vinci exhibition.

We actually planned to go last Sunday, but they had something on and it was postponed to this week instead. Actually it's better that there was a postpone as I preferred to go out on Saturdays rather than Sundays. Because when I go out on Sundays, I will worry about having to work on the following day, and to have to leave early to make sure we reach home on time to sleep early. So I will end up being distracted when I'm out, and cannot really enjoy the whole process.

The tickets were at $15 for adults, and we only had to top up another dollar for entry to the Science Centre itself. So we bought the special package for both places lor. Very worthwhile rite? Somemore Baby and I haven't been to the Science Centre together before.

The exhibit was made up of high quality replicas of The Genius's works since don't know how many years ago, can't recall le. I was rather mesmerized by the works of Leonardo Da Vinci, especially the story behind Monalisa's and The Last Supper's painting. In the past, I only knew so little about the great Da Vinci, and the exhibit was an eye opener for me. I didn't know he actually invented and discovered so many things. Idol Man! Too bad cameras weren't allowed in the exhibit, so we couldn't take any photos for memory.... Boo Hoo...

After spending 1.5 hours in the exhibit, we headed for the Science Centre. But before that, we went to get a bite at MacDonalds as both Baby and I haven't ate anything since we woke up. The junk food just tastes great when you are sooo hungry!

The last time I visited the Science Centre was like during secondary school days? Now the place looks rather different, but of course the entrance area was still the same. We enjoyed ourselves playing and mingling with the gadgets... There was even an area with games to play, and Baby had to put on this cute squarish 3D glasses inorder to see the animations in the game.... Cute!

Soon it was 6pm already and we had to move off, as the science centre was closing. So we decided to head to Jurong Point to walk walk and have dinner. I wasn't in the 'shopping' mood, so we jus walked and followed Faith and Shiyuan to the shops they wanted to go. They are holding their solemnization in a month's time and they were checking out the prices of hand bouquets and buying materials for their guest book.

We then proceeded to Din Tai Fung to have our dinner, and I learnt alot of things about the preparations for solemnization. Faith gave me alot of suggestions and advice which was really helpful, and it triggered my mind that it was about time to start preparing for our engagement for next year 10/10/2010. In fact, they were meeting Daniel, their photographer after our dinner and Faith asked if we wanted to come along so that I can meet up with Daniel and discuss about the quotation for us next year.

I learnt that SY & Faith got their photography package at $388, but I was quoted $600 for the same things.... So much difference.... So I have consider first, try to get more quotations for other photographers first....

After that, we met up with Ah Beng and Aili at Xing Wang Hong Kong cafe @ Kovan. Had alot of chit chatting for awhile and we decided to go home le.... Such a tiring day.... But we enjoyed ourselves!
