I did something good today...

*zHigUo + xiNhUi = kUkU & LaLa *

Today, I was out all day going for appointments. During the process while I was travelling on the bus at Jurong Port area, a Bagladeshi sitting in front of me asked if the bus was going to Geylang. I told him it doesn't as it stops at Jurong East Interchange. Then he told me in very broken english that it was his first time in Singapore.

He then asked me how he can get to Aljunied from Jurong Mrt. I guess because I used to work with Banglas while I was in the carpet company, so I felt that there was no harm helping him out. My bangla "friend" used to tell me how difficult it was for him to take buses and mrt when he first came to Singapore, so I sympathised with this bangla. Anyway I was also going to take the mrt, so it was along the way for me too. I helped him buy the 1 trip ticket for the mrt, and brought him to the direction he should go.

Some passer bys were looking at us, thinking why this chinese lady is walking with a bangla man. But well, there's nothing wrong with that what. Bangla cannot be friends with Chinese meh. To be honest, it feels great to help people, especially when they sincerely say thank you in the eye.
There is no harm helping people, but one just has to make sure it doesn't place yourself in a precarious situation. There are still scandlers wondering around, out to cheat kind hearted people, so at times situations may differ resulting my decision to help or not.
