Recently I have been staying at home during weekends. I'm not doing so to shut myself from the outside world. I've been staying at home to watch my favorite korean dramas.
Recently, channel u has been airing a new korean drama series "Boys Over Flower" on Saturdays evening 9.30pm. It's actually a story of the famous Japanese comic, which was what the drama was named after.
I'm starting to fall in love with this drama as I used to watch the Taiwan version of Meteor Garden and I just loved it. Though the storyline with the Korean version is slightly different to that in the Taiwan's version, I quite like it as it gives me a fresh feeling when I'm watching. However, I can't help but feel that the way the drama was shot is rather similar to that in my favorite drama, "Gong". I guess probably the director is the same person.
I'm actually a Korean drama fanatic since my schooling days. I've watched several dramas, such as My Sassy Princess - "Gong", "My name is Jin San Soon", "Little Bride", and many many more which I can't remember now.
I will usually buy the dvds and practically watch these drams over and over again, and never get bored of the story lines. I don't know why but I'll just get very emotional when I watch these love dramas. I will be so enchanted and affected by what's happening in the story, especially during those touching moments.
When I'm watching the exciting "moments", I'll have this adrenaline feeling in the back of my head.... Just so exciting!
I feel that watching dramas is a great pass time activity, especially when one is having holidays or just want to rest at home but still enjoy herself. I have a set of dvd for each drama that I like, so that in the future I can take these dvds out again to re-watch. I guess I won't have the patience to wait every week for channel u to air the "boys over flower". I will go and get a set of it's dvd soon!
