I was packing some clothes and necesscities for our Thailand trip on Saturday night. Cracking my brains to think of which top to bring because it must be light in weight, and suitable for humid and hot weather. Managed to narrow down my choices to 5-6 tops and 2 bottoms. We are trying to minimise the things we bring because my check in luggage only allows 15kg, and anything excess will be charged at $15 per kg. Very expensive leh, I wouldn't want to save on buying cheap clothes, and end up paying more for excess luggage weight.
Baby and I are having butterflies in our stomach, can't wait to shop till we drop. He is like treating this trip as a mini honey moon, to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary. Heez.. Baby was like commenting why I want to bring so many clothes when we are going to be shopping for clothes there. Initially he wanted to not bring any extra clothes along, just with the ones he is going to wear. This way he can save space and wear new clothes right away. I was like nagging at him, saying just bring a few light pieces won't add that much weight to the luggage, and more over the weather there is so hot, surely will sweat, so must change into fresh clothes everyday. I usually don't like to wear clothes immediately after purchasing them. Because you wouldn't know how clean that T-shirt, or that shorts are. Maybe someone with skin disease just tried that shirt, and the sales person fold it back and put it into the plastic, making it look like a brand new piece that has never been tried before. Then you buy that piece thinking its a brand new one, and wear it straight away. EeEeEeeeeeE! Even if it's really a brand new piece, you wouldn't know how many hundreds of dirty hands have handled that particular piece before it was even displayed at the stall or store.
Well, like I say I'm very imaginative, I can think of so many types of senario for just one topic or just one item. But it's never wrong to be safe rather than sorry right? Baby was convinced by my reasons and logics as usual, and allowed me to pack what ever I want. I help him pack everything while he lies on the bed playing psp, he still make so many comments...... -_-#
I like so tired these few days, alot of work to settle before I go on leave. Last night after work, I was craving for pizza, and Baby agreed to go pizza hut after much persuasion. When we reached J8, the pizza hut was full house, and we were told to wait for about 15 to 20 minutes. While waiting, we browsed through the manu and decided what to order immediately. Then Baby was like thinking, still have to pay gst and service charge hor, not worth it leh. So we both decided to order take away instead, and we managed to save alittle more and on the 10% gst. Both of us were like grinning away, and I was thinking in my mind, it's all these small dollars and cents saved that makes us a dollar or cent richer everyday. These "small" money will add up to be "big" money in the near future, and its part and partial of our daily lives that we remember this logic.
Thailand here I comeeeeeee!!!...... 3 more days!!
