Baby was so sweet yesterday, he came to fetch me at orchard after work and suggested to go somewhere new to have our dinner because he knew I wasn't in good mood lately..
Initially he suggested going "Giraffe", which was a new dine and wine restaurant located opposite Plaza Sing. But I didn't want him to spend too much money so I asked for more options. Then he suggested going Billy Bombers, because Baby have not tried the food there before. He drove to PS's carpark, and we intended to walk a distance to the BB at Picture House.
But end up, we were both kind of too tired to walk, so we decided to try Manhattan Fish Market located in PS. Both of us have not tried MFM before, there were several attempts by me to psycho Baby to try MFM. But there will always be a long queue outside the restaurant, and we usually wouldn't want to wait. Luckily yesterday the queue wasn't too long when we reached there.

We ordered the Seafood Platter for 2, together with their special Manhattan style Mud Pie. The serving for the platter was large, and we didn't managed to finish it. Hmm, honestly I still prefer Fish & Co. The fish from MFM was just like those flour coated fish than just fry, whereas for F&C, their fish was much more tasty and well seasoned. I also preferred the Mexican style rice from F&C, because they had some veggies, raisins and tomato sauce fried with the rice, which makes it more appetizing. MFM's rice was soggy, and more simple with a strong butter taste. It took me not more than 3 mouths before I got sick of the strong butter tasted rice. But of cause portion of the platter still tasted quite nice, like the fried squid.

I also loved their dessert, which was very different from the standard chocolate mud pie. It was huge for the price we paid. It was chocolate ice cream mixed with chocolate pie, frozen under at least -25c, and then topped with chocolate fudge. It was yummy!.... and ice cream made it less filling compared to the normal mud pies, which was appropriate after a overstuffed meal.
Well.... I enjoyed myself and thanks Baby, for trying to cheer me up. I really appreciate it, and probably we can do the same thing again next week, and the week after?... Heez~ Wallet bursting le mah?

After our extremely filled meal, we went to Carrefour to get some groceries again.... Heez~ I was craving for strawberries, and I have run out of tidbits at home... However, we didn't managed to get any mango because there wasn't any large nice mangoes there, we only found small mangos, the type from Thailand...Well.... I enjoyed myself and thanks Baby, for trying to cheer me up. I really appreciate it, and probably we can do the same thing again next week, and the week after?... Heez~ Wallet bursting le mah?
